Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a resealable plastic bag, combine the soy sauce, miso paste, maple syrup, minced garlic, grated ginger, fish sauce, sesame oil, and cayenne pepper. Seal the bag tightly, removing any excess air. Gently massage the ingredients from the outside of the bag to thoroughly blend the miso paste into the marinade. Add the chicken tenders to the bag and ensure they are evenly coated in the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 40 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. (40 minutes)

02

Step

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly coat an 8-inch square glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange the marinated chicken tenders in the prepared dish. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes, flipping the chicken tenders halfway through, after about 15 minutes, to ensure even cooking. The chicken is done when it is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear. For accuracy, an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a tender should register at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). (25 minutes)

04

Step

Before serving, sprinkle the baked chicken tenders with everything bagel seasoning to add a delightful textural and flavor contrast.

For an even deeper flavor, marinate the chicken tenders for up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
If you don't have everything bagel seasoning on hand, you can create your own blend using sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried garlic, dried onion, and salt.
To prevent sticking, ensure the baking dish is well-coated with nonstick cooking spray.
Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
