Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10-40 minutes. Check the internal temperature of the ham with an instant-read thermometer. It should reach at least 145°F (63°C) for fresh ham or 140°F (60°C) for pre-cooked ham. (10-40 minutes)

Pour the glaze evenly over the sliced ham. Serve immediately and enjoy!
For a deeper smoky flavor, consider using smoked ham.
If you don't have dark brown sugar, light brown sugar works well too.
Adjust the amount of maple syrup to your desired level of sweetness.
The natural pressure release is important for a more tender ham. If you're short on time, you can do a partial natural release (15-20 minutes) followed by a careful quick release, but the ham may be slightly less tender.
Leftover glazed ham is fantastic in sandwiches, salads, or omelets.
