Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a small bowl, thoroughly combine the cinnamon bun topping and melted butter until you have a smooth, fragrant paste. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Gently melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl using 15-second intervals, stirring well after each interval to prevent burning. Aim for a perfectly smooth and glossy consistency, roughly 1 minute total. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Carefully separate the crescent dough into 16 individual triangles. Spread approximately 1/2 teaspoon of the cinnamon mixture evenly over each triangle. Drizzle the melted chocolate artfully over the cinnamon layer. Beginning at the shortest side of each triangle, gently roll the dough towards the opposite point, creating a classic crescent shape. Once rolled, spread another 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon mixture on top of each roll. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the crescent rolls are beautifully golden brown and cooked through, approximately 10 to 13 minutes. (13 minutes)

For an extra layer of indulgence, consider adding a sprinkle of chopped nuts (such as pecans or walnuts) along with the chocolate chips.
If you don't have pre-made cinnamon bun topping, you can easily create your own by combining cinnamon, brown sugar, and a pinch of nutmeg.
These crescent rolls are best enjoyed warm, fresh from the oven. However, they can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
