Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). (2 minutes)

02

Step

In a small bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese and cherry jam until smooth. Stir in the chopped dried cherries until evenly distributed. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Lay a wonton wrapper on a flat surface, positioning it like a diamond with one corner pointing towards you. Lightly moisten all edges of the wrapper with water. Spoon a rounded teaspoon of the cherry-cream cheese mixture just below the center of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tucking it snugly underneath. Fold the side corners inward over the filling. Roll the egg roll away from you, sealing the final corner with a dab of water. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling. (20 minutes)

04

Step

Lightly coat both sides of each egg roll with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange the egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Air fry the egg rolls until they are golden brown and crispy, approximately 4 to 5 minutes per batch.

06

Step

While the egg rolls are cooking, whisk together the white sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl until well combined. (2 minutes)

07

Step

As soon as the egg rolls are removed from the air fryer, immediately roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated on all sides. Use two forks to transfer the coated egg rolls to a wire rack to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving. This allows the filling to set slightly. Serve warm. (10 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of almond extract to the cream cheese mixture.
If you don't have dried tart cherries on hand, dried cranberries make a great substitute.
These egg rolls are best served warm, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore their crispiness.
